Financial Accountant

Job Description

 As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for financial reporting of the Hotel. He/she provides financial information support to Operations Management and Financial Control. The position calls for an individual who is willing to be an integral member of a dynamic and ambitious team, thrive in a fast paced and continuously changing environment, posses a high degree of self-motivation and good attitude.We are looking for a candidate with relevant academic background and experience from a similar position.

Job Requirements

•  High degree of honesty and integrity
•  Manage and co-ordinate the Hotel’s Food & Beverage Finance team.
•  Balance Hotel’s Revenues on a daily basis.
•  Ensure internal controls are adhered to.
• Review and authorise the Daily Revenue Report.
•  Review and authorise the distribution of Food & Beverage Cost Reports.
•  Resolve any related queries.
•  Oversee Receivables Team and Front Office Accounts.
•  Post various month-end journals and reconcile month end general ledger accounts.
•  Perform other accounting related duties as required.
•  Assist the Financial Controller.
•  Must have experience in hotel/hospitality accounting.
  

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• 1st or higher Degree in Accountancy 
•  Must be a Chartered Accountant(ACCA OR ICAN)
